“HELOROS”
The Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

This superior quality oil is produced from the drupe of olive trees, that are over 300 years old and a testimony to its source: a pure and healthy environment.

The olives are traditionally hand picked and cold-pressed within twenty four hours of harvesting, thus capturing their full nutrient values and aroma. The owners supervise the entire process; from the planting of the young saplings, the pruning of the trees, harvesting and pressing of the olives, to the final bottling of the oil.

Directly from the fifteen hectares “HELOROS” organic olive grove of two thousand five hundred trees, on the south east coast of Sicily, owned and run by the Famiglia Giuliana, this is truly “Oro Verde Siciliano” (the green gold of Sicily).

Note: It is natural that from the first crop of new oil some sediment settles at the bottom. Olive oil should be stored in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, so that none of it’s unique qualities or fragrance is lost. The normal storage life of olive oil is approximately twelve to eighteen months, however due to the superior quality of this particular organic olive oil it has a storage life of up to thirty six months.
